Health and Safety Policy

Part 1: Statement of intent:

Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978

This is the health and safetypolicy statement of:



Our statement of general policy is:

  1. to provide adequate control of health and safety risks arising from our work and activities;

  2. to consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety;

  3. to ensure safe handling;

  4. to provide information, instruction and supervision for employees;

  5. to ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training;

  6. to ensure all participating in our activities are given adequate training.

  7. to prevent accidents and cases of work related ill health;

  8. to ensure safe and healthy training conditions;

  9. to maintain safe and healthy working conditions; and

  10. to review and revise this policy as necessary at regular intervals.

Part 2: Responsibilities

Overall and final responsibility for health and safety is that of




Day-to day responsibility for ensuring this policy is put into practice is delegated to    

                                  



                         

All employees have to:

1) co-operate on health and safety matters;

2) not to interfere with anything provided to safegaurd their health and safety;

3) take reasonable care of their own health and safety; and

4) report all health and safety concerns to an appropiate person (as detailed)

We will adhere to the health and safety policies of any premise that we hire to deliver training from.  All accidents will be logged by the centre where we hold any training.
